FedEx Ground offers eligible employees medical, prescription drug, and dental and vision benefits. We offer other benefits, including, flexible spending accounts, disability coverage and life insurance. Want some extra coverage? FedEx Ground offers various voluntary benefit coverage too.
Tuition Reimbursement
Join FedEx Ground and we will help you invest in your future on day one!
FedEx Ground will cover your tuition up to $5,250 per year. With no lifetime maximums while you are with us, you’ll be on the path to achieve your goals.
Paid Time Off
Package Handler employees can earn up to 5 weeks of paid time off. Eligibility based on Full/Part Time status and state laws and are permitted to use PTO after 90 days of continuous service. Program provides a “bank” of paid time for vacation, sick and personal use. Earned and unused PTO will be paid out at the end of the fiscal year.
Paid Parental Leave: New parents are eligible for two weeks paid parental leave!
Paid Holidays
After one year of service, Package Handlers receive up to six paid holidays per year, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. Working on a holiday? Regardless of your start date, FedEx Ground pays time-and-a-half for any hours worked on the six company holidays.
Work-Life Balance
FedEx Ground provides a company-paid benefit immediately to its employees and their dependents. We’re here to help you through life’s issues, including everyday needs and one-of-a-kind challenges.
Starting on day one, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits are available to help you and your family find a solution and restore your peace of mind, even if you’re not enrolled in FedEx benefits. Coverage includes up to eight free counseling sessions per issue with a counselor at no cost to you and is extended to your household members.
